Berry and Yoghurt Smoothie

When it’s warm outside and you need a little refreshment to get you from mid afternoon to dinner time, this Berry and Yoghurt Smoothie will hit the spot.  Cool, smooth and just a little bit sweet, I promise you’ll enjoy every mouthful.

We love using frozen berries because once blended they’re like ice cream and make this smoothie so deliciously cold and beautifully pink.

The water in this recipe will loosen the berries and make your mixture easier to blend.  For added richness you could use milk.  Whatever your fancy, you’ll be beautifully refreshed and nourished all at the same time.

Berry and Yoghurt Smoothie

This delicious Berry and Yoghurt Smoothie is lovely all year round but especially refreshing on a hot summer day.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams Frozen Berries
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 160 grams Greek Yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon Honey

Instructions

  1. Add berries and water to blender.  Blend until smooth.  Add remaining ingredients and continue to blend until well combined.  Divide mixture between two tall glasses, add some straws and enjoy.
