Chocolate Coconut Slice

You know the feeling, you’re going to a dinner party and have promised to bring along a homemade dessert but you don’t have hours to fuss over an elaborate creation. Well, this Chocolate Coconut Slice is perfect for you.  There is no electric mixer required, only 15 minutes prep time and 25 minutes bake time.

Just before the slice comes out of the oven, prepare the icing.  This needs to be spread over the hot slice to allow for a lovely even distribution. For the finishing touch, sprinkle some coconut over the top.

Delicious on its own, but to fancy it up, you could add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, whipped cream and berries on the side.
